In addition to coffee, this cafe also sells delicious sandwiches and features an onsite, from-scratch bakery. My favorite things to order are a ham and cheese croissant sandwich, an almond croissant, and a custard pastry. You can even order a slice of fresh cake or a scoop of sorbet to beat the heat! 

Unico 20°87°: Cafe Inez

This European-inspired cafe emphasizes gathering together over delicious food and drink. It offers fresh coffee, tea, and pastries in the morning and cold-cut sandwiches, paninis, and salads for dinner. Of course, lattés are available all day! The best part is they have a great selection of gluten-free bakery items AND a vegan menu, which can be hard to find on vacation.

If you want a taste of Mexico, try the Mexican Sweet Bread, also known as cuernos. It’s a rolled pastry shaped like a bull’s horn, similar to a French croissant but not as rich. A white sugar crust adds the perfect finishing touch to the cinnamon and vanilla-flavored dough—yum! The cafe also sells conchas, one of the most-recognized Mexican pastries, named for their shell shape.

The cafe also sells sweet and savory crepes, homemade ice cream, cakes, cookies, and tea. 

Don’t feel like leaving your room to get your coffee fix? At Sun Palace, you don’t have to! Many rooms boast espresso machines, so you don’t have to wait long after waking up to enjoy a steaming mug of your favorite beverage. 

Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya: Coffee Republic

Situated in another all-inclusive resort, Coffee Republic is your one-stop shop for drinks and snacks, whether you’re headed to the airport or getting ready to hit the pool. The craft coffee is just the tip of the iceberg! The cafe also sells gelato, pastries, yogurts, smoothies, and sandwiches. So, it’s the perfect place to head before a workout, day trip, or traveling home to ensure you don’t go hungry. It’s also a great spot to snap Instagram photos, with modern light fixtures, a cute letterboard menu, and trendy yellow seating.

In the mood for something sweet? This cafe also has a churro cart that parks in the front of the resort! You can stop by the cart at any time of day and get your sugar fix.
