Located within the pre-existing Secrets Moxché Resort, Impressions is perfect for couples looking for an upgraded VIP experience. Guide to Secrets Moxché Wedding Venues
Sky Rooftop Gazebo
This outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour venue has a maximum capacity of 150 guests. So, it’s perfect for small to midsize weddings. The ocean backdrop is stunning! The rooftop has a transparent barrier, so it looks like you’re floating above the water. Moreover, this venue is private, so you won’t have to worry about interruptions as you exchange vows and enjoy time with your loved ones.
Sky Wedding Salon
This indoor venue has the potential to host your entire wedding day all in one place, from the ceremony to the cocktail hour and reception. You’ll still enjoy ocean views but from a comfortable, air-conditioned environment! Alternatively, you could host your ceremony on the Rooftop Gazebo, followed by a reception inside the Salon. Just like the Gazebo, this venue is private. However, note its maximum capacity is slightly smaller, at 80 guests.
Beach Pergola
If your idea of the perfect Playa del Carmen wedding is exchanging vows with your toes in the sand, this venue is for you! With a maximum capacity of 200 guests, the Beach Pergola can accommodate weddings of all sizes. You can also have your wedding reception there, and ask your band to set up underneath the ceremony pergola! However, Playa del Carmen’s beaches are known for sargassum (smelly seaweed that washes up on the beach seasonally). Therefore, it’s best to have your beach wedding in the “off-season” from November through April rather than the summertime.
Beach Area
The Beach Area is another large reception venue at Secrets Moxché that can accommodate up to 200 guests. It’s naturally beautiful, and you’ll enjoy the sound of crashing waves throughout your celebration! You can add pretty seating and chairs to match the space to your aesthetic since it’s a blank slate. If you’d like, you can also add some colorful lanterns to spice up the string lights that are always hanging!
Pool Deck
The Pool Deck is primarily a reception venue with a maximum capacity of 110 guests. However, it’s also available for ceremonies and cocktail hours if you have a poolside wedding vision! It’s centrally located in the resort and split into two sections, with an infinity pool dividing them. But you won’t have to worry about unwelcome interruptions if you choose this venue. The lush plant life adds a natural backdrop and gives the deck a secluded feel! I recommend bringing in additional lighting to brighten the space and show off all the beautiful plants.
Mystic Area by Cenote
Like the Pool Deck, this venue is available for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions of up to 110 guests. You can choose from two cenotes, which are both attached to a sandy beach area! While the beach is further away at this venue, it’s perfect for a private wedding. Surrounded by the gorgeous cenote, you’ll feel like you have the resort all to yourself. This venue is the most unique that Secrets Moxché has to offer!
Market Corner
Market Corner, which accommodates up to 70 guests, is the perfect venue for hosting your rehearsal dinner. Located in the resort’s main buffet area, it’s accessible via a separate door into a private area. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlook the lagoon, while the outdoor balcony area is ideal for enjoying the incredible view. You’ll also enjoy the comfort of air conditioning at this venue!
