I’m delighted I could be Nicole and Stephen’s travel advisor for their Casa de Campo destination wedding. I loved this couple from our first Zoom call! Nicole’s sister had a destination wedding, and the couple loved that the wedding was an immersive experience instead of a one-day event. After Stephen proposed, they knew they wanted a destination wedding too. They came to me for guidance, and I started researching the perfect location!
Casa de Campo Destination Wedding
While Nicole knew she wanted a destination wedding, she wanted a location more off the beaten track, instead of Jamaica or Mexico. In addition, she didn’t want a “carnival-like” location, preferring a more intimate setting. She and Stephen had already looked at resorts for a few weeks before booking Bridie Travel and weren’t having any luck. However, after hearing their wants and needs, I showed them a few resorts in the Caribbean Islands that fit them. Casa de Campo won!
I was so glad the couple chose Casa de Campo because it’s one of my all-time favorite destination wedding venues (read more about it here!). I knew the resort’s privacy, amenities, and luxurious feel would fulfill their wish of having an enjoyable vacation with loved ones. The absence of high rises or family fun parks would ensure a relaxing trip that felt like they had the resort to themselves. Moreover, it was affordable enough that all their guests could make the trip!
Wedding on the Dye Fore Terrace
Casa de Campo features many indoor and outdoor wedding venues so couples can make their special day their own. Nicole and Stephen chose the Dye Fore Terrace as their venue for their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception! This stunning venue overlooks Casa de Campo’s world-renowned golf course and the island’s spectacular mountainscapes. With an open terrace perfect for ceremonies and a pergola for sheltering open-air receptions, it was the perfect place for Nicole and Stephen to have their entire wedding day. Plus, the dramatic views made a gorgeous backdrop for their portraits!
I had such a great time getting to know Nicole and Stephen. I’m so glad I could coordinate their Casa de Campo destination wedding and help them have the celebration they envisioned! Are you picturing tying the knot in paradise? I would love to hear your vision and share how my services can help you enjoy a stress-free planning experience. Kind Words from Nicole and Stephen
Megan at Bridie Travel is a must-have for destination wedding planning. We found Megan after trying to find a resort on our own for a couple of weeks, and I can confidently say we wouldn’t have had the wedding or honeymoon we had without her expertise. I’m also willing to bet the entire affair would have been a lesser experience and more expensive for us and our guests if we had done it without Megan. So, hiring Bridie is a no-brainer!
When we decided to have a destination wedding, we assumed all our “wedding dreams” would go out the window as a trade-off. Megan exceeded our expectations when she found us a resort with a wedding venue that looked like all our inspiration photos and met all our resort needs (something I didn’t think existed!). Beyond finding the right location, Megan created our wedding website and coordinated booking for all our guests. She’ll make your wedding planning experience so much easier!
