Planning a Destination Wedding at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres

Julie and Eric always knew they wanted to get married on the beach. And they knew they wanted to do it at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres! After a fabulous vacation, they fell in love with the resort and knew they wanted it for their wedding. So, when they reached out to me, they’d already made the hardest choice! We got to know each other a bit (they’re huge White Sox fans!) and chatted about their vision. It wasn’t long before we decided that our shared love of travel made us a match in vendor heaven.

I advised Julie and Eric to book a Thursday for their wedding at the resort. This allowed them to avoid weekend crowds, since Saturdays allow book up first! At the same time, it was close to the weekend for the convenience of their guests. I give this advice to all my couples and it never fails!

As the big day approached, I got to work coordinating travel services for Julie, Eric, and all their VIPs. I communicated with each guest to book their transportation and accommodations. In addition, I handled communications with resort staff so Julie and Eric could sit back and enjoy a stress-free engagement. Before long, it was time for the happy couple to say “I do!”

A Beachfront Wedding Day with Spectacular Surprises

The Sky Gazebo at Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres was the perfect location for the couple’s ceremony! Purple and ivory florals from Essenza Riviera decorated the archway for a touch of romance. But, the highlight was the view of the palm trees, soft white sand, and sparkling blue ocean. What could be dreamier?

The couple’s reception was on the beach, where a long table seated all their closest family and friends. For their first dance, they surprised everyone with a choreographed number and absolutely crushed it! Later, more surprises awaited their guests. A fireworks show over the beach lit up the sky midway through the night. Then, just before the couple made their exit, a fire throwing show gave the group a final thrill! I loved that Julie and Eric emphasized the guest experience to create a memorable wedding in this slice of paradise.
