I was honored to be Thalia and Ramiro’s destination wedding advisor for their wedding at Moon Palace Cancún! The couple had always dreamed of a destination wedding, but planning everything from a different country felt impossible. I stepped in and guided them through the process, helping them choose the perfect venue and coordinate travel for themselves and their guests. Their loved ones came from all over the United States for their special day, plus Ireland and a different part of Mexico! It was a truly unforgettable celebration that I’m so glad I was part of.
Wedding Ceremony in the Chapel at Moon Palace Cancún
Thalia’s ceremony entrance was one of the best parts of her and Ramiro’s wedding day! She rode up to the beachside chapel in a carriage drawn by a white horse. Meanwhile, she looked just like a modern-day princess, hair romantically swept to one side and wearing a sleek off-the-shoulder gown from Bella Bianca. The couple’s daughter, their flower girl, rode by her side. According to her, exiting the ceremony with Ramiro as husband and wife was the only moment from the day that topped her fairytale entrance!
The couple wanted their wedding ceremony to honor their Catholic faith. So, they exchanged vows in the open-air Chapel at Moon Palace Cancún! The gorgeous venue overlooks the clear blue sea and can seat up to 60 guests for an intimate ceremony. One of the best things about having your wedding at a large resort is having your pick of multiple venues to make your event your own. For example, if the Chapel isn’t large enough to accommodate all your guests, you might consider the Tuscan Gazebo. It can seat up to 100 guests and also overlooks the beach.
Wedding Reception in the Chapel Garden with Live Music
The fairytale feeling carried into Thalia and Ramiro’s reception in the Chapel Garden, where they shared their first dance to Victor Muñoz’s “Mi Princesa.” Hundreds of twinkling golden lights covered the LED dance floor! Meanwhile, glass-topped tables adorned with white flowers brought an air of enchantment to the al fresco dinner.
Having live music at their reception was a priority for the couple, so they chose to splurge on entertainment! They and their guests enjoyed performances from a mariachi band, Banda ensemble, and DJ. Their goal was to keep everyone on their feet so they could dance the night away with their loved ones. I’m happy to say they succeeded! The light-up dance floor added to the fun, glowing with neon colors throughout the evening.
I’m so glad that Thalia and Ramiro got to have the destination wedding of their dreams! Moon Palace Cancún was the perfect venue, and I could tell they were having a blast partying with their kids, family members, and close friends. If you want a destination wedding but feel overwhelmed by the planning, there’s good news: you don’t have to do it alone! As your destination wedding advisor, I’ll guide you through each step and ensure the planning process is stress-free. Connect with me today to learn more!
