The couple has pre-reserved rooms for you at the beautiful Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres in the Family Friendly section and in the Elegance Club (adult-only) section, an All-Inclusive resort.

The resort is located about 40 minutes from the Cancun (CUN) airport.

The resort requires a 3 night minimum stay. We have 35 rooms reserved for May 1 – 8, 2024, but you are invited to stay longer (based upon availability).

ELEGANCE CLUB AMENITIES:
The Elegance Club (Adults Only 18+) section is separated from the main resort by a “natural fence”, which will ensure the privacy of those guests who are enjoying the pools or other areas of the Club section. Guests in this section of the resort will experience the quality and services they have come to expect of Majestic Resorts with an adult only dedicated area.

At the Elegance Club we offer the Majestic Supreme Service, a variety of upgraded amenities and services only for the Club Section, some of these amenities include:

  • (10) private swimming pools.
  • Private beach & Pool areas with Bali beds.
  • Personalized check-in with butler and tour.
  • Complimentary late check-out (based on availability).
  • Exclusive access to a dedicated Restaurant (Italian) for breakfast and lunch a la carte service.

Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres is located north of Cancun, 20 miles / 40kms away from the Cancun International Airport. Playa Mujeres is known for its turquoise calm waters and white sand beaches surrounded by vegetation. It is ideally located 20 minutes away from downtown Cancun and just a couple of minutes away from the Punta Sam Ferry Terminal for a day-trip to Isla Mujeres.

The southeastern coast of Mexico enjoys tropical weather year-round. The temperatures range from 68° to 86° Fahrenheit from Oct – March and from 75° to 91° from April to Sept. Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres is located in the Yucatan Peninsula. This area provides the perfect balance between the rich Mayan history and several natural wonders. It is the home of the second largest barrier reef in the world and a great number of cenotes or underwater caves. Snorkeling and scuba diving trips are a must in this area. Guests can enjoy one-day trips to different ancient Mayan cities like: Chichen Itza, Tulum or Coba. Golfing is also available nearby at the Greg Norman Signature Golf Course in Playa Mujeres. Water activities like deep-sea fishing or yachting are available ($).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Guests are responsible for booking their own airfare. Bridie Travel will only be booking your room & transfers for Sadie & Tyler’s wedding.


  • Within 2-3 business days you will receive your room invoice from Bridie Travel to confirm the details.
  • After you have reviewed and confirmed your invoice, you can make your deposit.
  • A minimum non-refundable deposit of $200 per person + optional travel insurance is due by Wednesday, October 18, 2023.
  • All final payments are due by Wednesday, January 31, 2023 by 6pm CST.

Given our current climate, I strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect you before, during and after you travel. The travel insurance has coverage for medical, inclement weather, flight delays/cancellations/missed connections, baggage delays/cancellations, etc. There is some coverage regarding COVID and pandemics, including testing positive prior to departure. A rise in COVID cases is not a reason to cancel, which is why ‘Cancel For Any Reason’ is very important to add.

Bridie Travel uses Travel Insured. The Worldwide Trip Protector with Cancel For Any Reason gives you the extra flexibility of knowing you can cancel your trip for almost any unforeseen reason that the Worldwide Trip Protector plan does not already cover at 100% and receive 75% of your non-refundable trip cost back. It includes benefits like trip cancellation protection, primary emergency medical benefits, 24-hour travel assistance, and more. This plan also has smart benefits that can proactively pay your clients and simplify the claims process with no receipts required. Children 17 and under are free with this plan.

IMPORTANT: ‘Cancel For Any Reason’ MUST be purchased at the time of booking (or within 21 days of deposit). You cannot add ‘Cancel For Any Reason’ after 21 days of your initial deposit date. You can purchase regular travel insurance though after the deposit date.

The cost of the travel insurance is based on the total cost of your trip + your age (typically 6%-10% of the total cost of the trip). Bridie Travel will provide individual quotes with your invoice so you can determine if you want to add it or not. If you decide not to purchase the insurance, you will be required to sign a denial waiver.

What is a room block?

  • This means that Sadie & Tyler have paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for your group.
  • The couple has signed a contract with the resort and has committed to a minimum number of rooms
  • Only rooms booked with Bridie Travel LLC count toward this contract
  • The resort has a 3-night minimum stay requirement, but you are welcome to come earlier or stay later!
  • We have reserved several different room types for you to choose from.

Can we come earlier or stay later?

Absolutely! Please include your requested dates on the reservation form and I will confirm availability.

How much will this cost?

The rates listed are PER PERSON and include:
  • Hotel accommodations
  • All Inclusive Meal Plan – also includes all beverages including alcohol
  • Round trip private transportation between the Cancun International (CUN) and resort
  • Hotel, tax & gratuities
  • All wedding events & activities
  • Optional travel insurance is available to protect your investment

Is there a payment plan?

Yes! Initial deposits of $200 per person are non-refundable is due at the time of booking and final payment is due Wednesday, January 31, 2024. You are welcome to make additional payments at any time. You will receive a monthly automated payment reminder, which you can choose to make a payment or ignore.


What if I book and need to cancel?

  • Since all-inclusive resorts are pre-paid AND non-refundable, travel insurance is encouraged to protect your investment.
  • Life is unpredictable; plans can change.
  • The cost of insurance is based on the cost of your room (see pricing tiers above)
  • Without insurance, there are no refunds should your plans change.
  • Without insurance, you will also not have any medical coverage for mishaps or catastrophic events. Your US health insurance will likely not work outside the US.

Do I need a passport?

Yes, all international travelers are required to have a passport, including infants and children. To learn more about the application process, please visit the U.S. Department of State website.

IMPORTANT! If you do not have a passport or need to renew your passport, please do so right away. The passport offices are very delayed and is taking 12 weeks for expedited and 19 weeks for standard service.

What happens if I don't book with Bridie Travel?

Sadie & Tyler have paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for your group. They have a group contract that allows them to offer additional benefits for their guests. The couple kindly asks that you book your hotel within our designated group contract here at Bridie Travel.

There are several reasons why you should honor the couple’s wishes and book the hotel portion with the group:
  • The couple has worked with me to negotiate a contract for the ENTIRE group. This allows the couple to offer some amazing and fun surprises for all of you.
  • These events and special amenities are based on a group minimum and the couple is required to meet that minimum number of rooms. Rooms booked outside the group contract do not count toward this minimum.
  • Groups are given priority status at the resort, so you might miss out on some VIP treatment.
  • Groups are given priority room assignments, so if you book directly, you’re likely getting a room that couldn’t be sold to a group. It will be leftover inventory, probably in a undesirable location away from everyone else.
  • Groups are given priority in terms of an oversold situation. If the hotel over sells, your group is protected but your reservation is not. You could be walked to another location.

Guests who do not book within the group contract unfortunately:
  • Will not get the group rates
  • Will not be not be protected by the cancellation policies we’ve negotiated.
  • Will have to pay upfront vs. over time.
  • Will not receive any pre-departure, trip support or post-trip support from me.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot assist with travel arrangements made outside of the group, nor can I assist in the event of an emergency.
  • Finally, you are not “officially” recognized by the hotel as being part of our event. The hotel group contract and wedding event pricing are planned in tandem.
  • Guests staying off property will be charged a day pass to attend the wedding events. The resort has the right to stop selling day passes if the property reaches 90% capacity or greater. Off-property guests are welcome from 9am to 9pm.

What about airfare?

  • Yes, you are required to book your own flights. If you need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us to book airfare to Cancun. The airport code is CUN.
  • We recommend you purchase your flights as early as you can. You can book via your favorite airline and consider using miles or credit card points, if you have them.
  • Due to contract deadlines, we recommend booking your hotel room as early as possible and adding air when you’re ready.
  • You will receive an email 3 months prior to departure with a link to submit your flights. Your flights are due no later than Wednesday, March 20, 2024. This is how we schedule your ground transportation in Cancun.
  • Email a screenshot of your flight itinerary (including your Record Locator, passenger names, travel dates, arrival/departure airports, airline name and flight numbers) to Cara@bridietravel.com

How do I get a quote for my room?

  • All quotes start with the reservation form. Fill out the reservation form and I will get back to you with a quote.
  • In your reservation form, make sure to include the ROOM TYPE you want to book.

I'm sharing a room with another invited guest. How does that work?

  • Please coordinate with your roommate and designate ONE person to fill out the reservation form.
  • Reservation forms should be one per ROOM, not one per person. When I get your form, I will email both of you and explain next steps.
  • If you and your roommate live at different addresses, please make sure to include the second passenger’s contact info. This can go in the notes field.

What are the current travel restrictions?

As of July 2022, there are no travel restrictions to enter Mexico or the US. Regardless of vaccination status, you do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test.


Travel Insurance FAQ

Travel insurance is HIGHLY recommended and protects you if you need to cancel your trip. Since all-inclusives are pre-paid, insurance protects your investment if you need to change your plans. Without travel insurance, there are no refunds for any reason.

Travel insurance is based on the cost of your room. Please see pricing tiers above.

This insurance must be added at the time of DEPOSIT.

Travel insurance includes more than just cancellation coverage… it includes post-departure coverage and medical coverage as well! Did you know that most USA health insurances do NOT work in Mexico? If you need to see a doctor for an illness or a small mishap, you will be charged in cash upfront before a doctor will treat you. Insurance helps reimburse you for these unexpected costs.
